“I came to Fort Wayne after the recent round of hurricanes in Florida took everything I had. I did not have a lot of support, and I needed to be closer to a few of my family members. I landed at the Rescue Mission and really wasn’t sure where to go or where to turn. I met a man who told me about a wonderful place called Forgotten Stones. He said they will help you with just about anything, but the best part is they have a housing assistance program that is getting people off the streets and into their own place. I met with a nice woman named Brittney who helped me secure a roof over my head all in one day! I was amazed at their kindness and how much they cared. A few hours later I had my keys.
