Lance
Lance H- Lance had spent the past 10 years without permanent housing. He had stayed at shelters and at one point was even living out of his car. He had been employed with GM for five months, however due to past legal challenges, no rental history and the soaring rental prices, he was hitting a wall. Lance had made every effort to turn his life around and start fresh. He kept all of these struggles to himself and pushed forward. Through the program, Lance was able to move into his very own apartment for the first time in his life! Lance is now a permanent volunteer and is enjoying the new life he created for himself. “It was not surprising that this was happening to me. What was surprising to me was the care and compassion that I received from Mary Ann. She and her volunteers really care and what they do is amazing. Becoming a volunteer was a life changing experience, getting to see the Lord work through us is remarkable and heartwarming.” – Lance
